Owners Andy Mallon and Sharon Wooller followed their love of the outdoor life and passion for Scotland by moving, from the Midlands, to the beautiful Dava School House on the Highland/Moray border in December 2013. Andy, born and raised in South Africa, has found a place as close to his heart as his native country. Sharon, an Eastbourne lassie, has embraced Dava Moor and all that Scotland has to offer.
With our love of hiking, mountain biking and kayaking means that living on the northern tip of The Cairngorm National Park we can indulge ourselves in our love of the outdoors. River rafting with Ace Adventures and sea kayaking with Nairn Kayaking Club come as a bonus; close proximity to Lochindorb makes an ideal training location on which we relish the peace and tranquility of our surroundings not to mention the wildlife.
After lengthy research within Wales and Scotland, Dava School House rewarded us with all we were looking for; to convert an existing character house into a loving home to share with our guests. Hard work has paid off, we are living our dream and welcome the opportunity to share with guests, our passion of the Scottish outdoors as well as all that the Highlands of Scotland and Moray Speyside has to offer.
