Owners Andy Mallon and Sharon Wooller followed their passion for the outdoors and Scotland by moving, from the Midlands, to the beautiful Dava School House which sits on the Highland and Moray border. Andy, born and raised in South Africa, has found a place as close to his heart as his native country. Sharon, an Eastbourne lassie, has embraced Dava Moor and all that Scotland has to offer.
With their love of hiking, mountain biking and kayaking, living on the Northern tip of The Cairngorm National Park enables them to indulge in their love of the outdoors. Situated in close proximity to Lochindorb makes an ideal training location on which they relish the peace and tranquillity of their surroundings – not to mention the wonderful wildlife too!
After lengthy research in Wales and Scotland, Dava School House rewarded them with all they were looking for; to convert an existing character house into a loving home to share with their guests. Hard work has paid off, they are living their dream and welcome the opportunity to share with guests, their passion for the Scottish outdoors as well as all that the Highlands of Scotland and Moray Speyside has to offer.
